Canadian born artist Rachelle Lynn recently relocated to Los Angeles to pursue her music career. Her latest single co-written with her brother Bryan "Brave New World" shot to #1 on the Home Grown Hits song charts for the Rock genre and #1 over all at this years ASCAP EXPO in Hollywood, CA. She co- produced it with Morris Hayes (Prince's MD & Keyboardist for 20yrs) and had it mixed by David Isaac (3 time Grammy Winning Producer/Engineer). She was featured in Keyboard Magazine's November 2012 issue for Best New Talent to watch out for.
The Consul General of Canada, David Fransen, asked her to sing the National Anthem for the 2013 Canadian Oscar Party at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel. Rachelle also had the honor of being asked to sing "Pi's Lullaby" from the movie "Life of Pi" which Mychael Danna won the Oscar for Best Original Film Score.
She has been collaborating with great writers in Nashville, TN over the last couple years such as Jon Tiven & Sally Tiven and Daryl Burgess & LeeAnn Burgess and has recorded at the famous Royal Studios in Memphis, TN.
The Dub-step collaboration on her song "Rain" came second place last Summer on E! Entertainment's show "Opening Act' produced by Nigel Lythgoe (American Idol, producer/judge and co-creator of So You Think You Can Dance).
She has been on the rise ever since opening for Nelly Furtado at just 15yrs old. Furtado personally handpicked Rachelle to perform at the McPherson Theatre in their hometown Victoria, B.C. Rachelle has maintained a mentoring friendship with Furtado throughout the years and she asked Rachelle to open for her again at Roger's Arena in Vancouver, BC, Canada for her "Loose" tour.
She has been busy top lining for other artists in LA and Sweden and working on her new EP with a hopeful release early 2015.
