Race the River Dragon Boat Regatta
Imagine this...The beat of the drums, the size of the colourful boats, the number of competitors in each crew, the speed of the boats as 20 paddlers thrash through the water in unison...these are but some of the sights and sounds you will experience as you take in one of the fastest growing sports in the world. Dragon Boat racing!
Almost 500 competitors from all over Vancouver Island will take part in this event. Each team hoping to take home the gold medal.
In addition to the racing there will be a special tribute to those lost to Cancer and those who are survivors. This is not to be missed.
Food and entertainment complete this day, giving something to everyone to enjoy!
