NICK MINTENKO is a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter from Victoria, BC.

Nick completed his Diploma in Jazz Studies at the Victoria Conservatory of Music in 2013. Nick has toured, recorded, and performed with Mildly Wild (2013 - Present) and West My Friend (2015-18). Nick has also toured with the Marc Atkinson Trio (2014 - Present) and The Bills (2014, 2017). In 2017 Nick Partnered with Stonebridge/Furch Guitars. In March 2017 Nick released his first solo album "What I Thought I Knew". The album received positive reviews from Grayowl Point and Ride The Tempo. The title track garnered the honours of being the #5 song of the week for the second week of January 2017 on Ride The Tempo's charts. The album is said to resemble the sounds of Jeff Buckley, Ron Sexsmith, Radiohead, Deathcab for Cutie, and Patrick Watson among others. Nick wasted no time in recording and releasing his sophomore record “Still I Remain” in June 2018. This album received positive reviews from 'Canadian Beats Media' and from 'Divide and Conquer Music'. Adam Dunbar of Canadian Beats Media surmised to say “The album sounds great, the production is outstanding, the musicians are all first order and on top of their craft. Nick’s vocal range is astonishing and he uses it to full advantage in the ten songs on Still I Remain [...]”

Elise Boulanger is a sweet darkness wrapped in orchestral instrumentation. Hailing from Nanaimo (Snuneymuxw), Canada, this Chamber-Folk-Pop artist completely captivates audiences with her haunting avalanche of a voice. She creates cinematic dreamscapes influenced by nature, her classical training and artists like Regina Spektor, Patrick Watson, Franz Schubert and Radiohead. She is described as sharing semblance with Kate Bush, Lana Del Rey, Kishi Bashi and CocoRosie. Her current single “Cigarettes et rosé” (2020), is a melodically percussive and inclusive march that has bolstered her reputation to be “one ready to make a very big impression on the world at large,” (For the Rabbits). It builds upon the hypnotic sea chantey of “The Mariner’s Remedy” (2019) which found airplay across Canada. For 2021 expect the release “It Started in the Garden,” the hopeful resume of 2020’s Western Canadian tour, and releases from her climate change-inspired EP to build on over 15+ years of performances, like the 2018 JUNO celebrations and several notable Vancouver Island festivals. Quin With One N is a unique artist merging genres from around the world with his roots in folk music and creating sounds that haven't been heard before. As a multi-instrumentalist, Quin has a large 'tool kit' with which he can sculpt different tunes and arrangements. Even though he started his musical endeavour as a young fiddle player, he doesn't let that stop him from exploring music outside of traditional, Celtic, and bluegrass fiddling. Some of his major inspirations are Jacob Collier, Victor Wooten, and Stéphane Grappelli, which have led him down different paths to discover what his sound is. Quin is now studying jazz at the Vancouver Island University, majoring on the violin. Throughout his studies, he is continuing to perform his contemporary one-man-band using a loop pedal. With his experience playing in Nanaimo's local fiddle ensemble, Fiddelium, for 10 years, as well as performing with various bands and artists (Nick Mintenko, Kept Company, Queue The Music) he is able to sculpt his sound as he moves through various genres. He has also been fortunate to share the stage with Adrian Dolan, Daniel Lapp, Adam Dobres, and Quinn Bachand. In 2017 Quin released his first solo CD, Embark. It is an eclectic mix of traditional fiddle and new contemporary. Three of the tunes were composed by Quin. Following the release of Embark, Quin was nominated for a Canadian Folk Music Award in the Young Artist of the year category in 2017. In 2020 Quin released his second album, Out of the Blue. It is a blend of Celtic and contemporary fiddle, mixed with components that come out of the blue. All tracks we composed by Quin and the album featured Nick Mintenko on bass, Geoff Horrocks on piano, Sara Varro on Drums, and Sara Marrerios on vocals.
