Quadra Island Artists are hosting their annual Studio Tour on the first weekend of June. Quadra is in the Discovery Islands, just is a short ferry ride from Campbell River. Visitors can check out the artist�s studios where they work in blown glass, stone sculpture, pottery, photography, printmaking, painting and other media. This is a great opportunity to meet the creative people behind the artwork and to explore Quadra Island. Tour the studios, go for a picnic on Rebecca Spit, enjoy the view of the mountains across Sutil Channel - it is a perfect weekend outing. After the opening June 1st and 2nd weekend, many studios continue to welcome visitors throughout the summer.
