Donate a children's gift and get a pumpkin to carve!
On Saturday, October 25th, Pumpkins on the Pier will take place in Beacon Park Sidney. Fun events for all ages: carved pumpkin contest, pumpkin pie eating contest, apple bobbing contest, open stage for youth music, and trick or treating in downtown Sidney.
Prior to the 26th drop off any unwrapped child's Christmas give at Mary Winspear Centre and receive a coupon to pick up a free pumpkin at a local farm.
Bring your carved pumpkin to Beacon Park on Saturday, October 26th at 4PM for judging ... and just show it off! Once the pumpkins have been judged and prizes awarded, the pumpkins will be paraded to nearby Bevan Pier for display through the week preceding Halloween.
