Saturday, November 22nd, 2014
7:00 PM to 10:00 PM

Victoria artists are getting together to share their talent with you in an unforgettable night of music, poetry, story-telling, live-auction of original art and dance!

St. Barnabas Anglican Church and community organizers are happy to present spoken word artist Janet Rogers, singer/songwriter Chris Ho, jazz vocalist Anne Schaefer, worldbeat concocters Compassion Gorilla, author Monique Gray-Smith, humorist-musician Art Napoleon and the rocking Bald Eagles band. Community leader Dr. Jacquie Green of the Haisla Nation will talk to us about the challenges her people up North are facing.

A food truck & bar will keep you going and bring in more cash for Northern First Nations communities who are going to court to stop the Enbridge Northern Gateway pipeline. All proceeds raised will help the Gitxaala, Kitasoo/Xai’Xais, Heiltsuk, Nadleh Whut’en and Nak’azdli Nations in their legal battle.
