Public Workshop on Gender and Sexual Orientation

NIC's School of Health and Human Services is very pleased to welcome Prism, from Vancouver Coastal Health, who will be offering an informative, public presentation on gender identity and sexual orientation at the Stan Hagen Theatre, on NIC�s Comox Valley campus on Monday, February 3.

Presenters Nikki Zawadzki, Prism Coordinator, and Gwen Haworth, Prism Educator and Vancouver Filmmaker, will discuss gender identity and sexual orientation as they relate to inclusion and diversity, as well as some of the unique barriers to health and wellness that LGBTQ2S people may experience.

The presentation, which will run from 7 to 9 pm, is free to attend and seating is on a first come, first seated basis.
