Public Info Session - Greenhouse Gas, Carbon Footprints and Climate Change
add to outlook add to google calendar remind me
Our local governments have signed a charter with the BC Government to reduce emissions and become carbon neutral by 2012. Your actions as an individual play a role in this goal. The presentation gives many suggestions for small changes we can all make in our recreation, travel, home, food, banking, and more.
Along with learning what greenhouse gasses are and how they relate to climate change, youll find out specific things you can do to measure and reduce your carbon footprint, says Lehanna Green, The Marketing, Communications and Organizational Outreach Coordinator with Cowichan Energy Alternatives. The talk combines science with practical ways to help our community.
