An art & literature awareness & fundraising campaign to give everyone the opportunity to contribute to the preservation and restoration of the K’ómoks estuary. Our 2015 campaign will be centered around the theme – then, now and future – to inspire artists to capture their version of the past, present and future of the estuary…or all three!
Nationally renowned first nations artist Andy Everson has created a unique image for this years’ campaign. Join Andy in celebrating our one-of-a-kind estuary in 2015 Since 2009/2010 Project Watershed has held an Art Show and Silent Auction to raise awareness and funds for the restoration and protection of the K’omoks Estuary.
This years show is, Then, Now and Future. May 23rd, 7-9pm
A Keeping it Living Gala evening event and fund raiser will be held in conjunction with this show in; Lion’s Den – below the Pearl Ellis Gallery and Comox Museum, 1729 A Comox Ave, Comox
A ticketed event featuring: A taste of the Estuary – local food and beverages A live juried auction as well as a silent auction of the Keeping It Living art displayed on our Gallery page Keynote speakers (tba) Prints of Andy Everson’s Keeping It Living image “Stillness”
