Saturday, July 9th, 2016
9:00 AM to 4:30 PM

If you’re looking to improve your ‘stringing savvy’ this workshop is for you! Put aside the hobby cords, crimp beads and bead caps. This class will teach you the fine art of hand-knotting on silk cord, and how to finish ends professionally using French coil.

We will be working with pearls in this class, but the methods taught can be used with almost any beads, enhancing the appearance, value, and functionality of your work (no more beads flinging everywhere if a cord eventually wears through or is somehow cut). This workshop will also include design considerations, and information on different types of pearls. Ideal for beginners, but also for metal workers who want to incorporate beads into their work.

Note: Materials are provided and included in the price. See the supply list online for additional items you need to bring from home.
