Poured Watercolours with Catherine Martha Holmes

Learn to create a “poured watercolour” painting, starting with stretching watercolour paper and becoming familiar with liquid watercolours, artists-quality tube paints and drawing gum. Participants will review their chosen images (with strong light, middle to dark values), apply drawing gum and paint, using a limited palette of primary colours. To finish the artwork, the class will add the final details to their paintings.

Watercolour stretching boards will be provided for the duration of the class.

Watercolour paper will be available at a small fee.
