For the month of June the Potters Place Gallery in Courtenay will be featuring the work of four Mid-Island potters: Algis Bubnys, Jane MurraySmith, Linda Phillips and Barb Strachan. Based out of Pyromania Pottery in Coombs, they create functional and decorative pottery using electric, wood and gas fired techniques. Each potter will showcase their feature work that includes ash and raku glazes as well as feather and horsehair treatments. Pottery lovers are invited to come by the Gallery to see what these Pyromaniacs have been up to.
