Fumbling Towards Ecstasy traces the deeply spiritual odyssey of a woman�s life from first romantic encounter to mature love. With the participation of Sarah McLachlan as a consultant during the creation of this show, the Alberta Ballet dancers have been offered the unique chance to inhabit both the musical and spiritual world of one of Canada�s most celebrated artists. Choreographed by Jean Grand-Ma�tre and danced by the full company of 30 exquisite dancers, this piece explores the ever-changing lives of women � their struggles, their relationships and their triumphs.
Alberta Ballet is Canada's second largest dance company and is in its 47th season. Alberta Ballet has developed a distinctive repertoire and performance quality that has brought it to the forefront of both its home and international stages.
