Port Alberni celebrates Canada 150 with a parade, multicultural activities, sporting event, food, performances AND a must-see firework extravaganza to close out the night!
The fun starts at 10:00am with the 40th Annual Canada Day Parade, hosted by Folk Fest Port Alberni. Please note that this year’s parade will run south along 3rd Avenue between Redford Street and Dunbar Street. This will also be the route of the running event for the Tri-Conic Challenge so spectators will be able to watch both events.
Immediately following the Canada Day Parade, Alberni Harbour Quay will be abuzz with the Tri-Conic Challenge, vendors, activities and performances throughout the day. Gather the family and participate in this free, all-ages event. A beautiful display of fireworks over the water will cap off our biggest Canada Day bash yet!
