Join us for a fun collaboration between Nanaimo Wellington Library, Nanaimo Science & BC Society of Engineering and Geoscience!!
Task:
Build the strongest bridge that is longer than 50 cm using only 100 craft sticks and white glue (both supplied) and/or hot glue! Bring it to this event! Make sure it has had lots of time to dry!!
Notes on Bridge Construction rules provided in each kit. Kits handed out at Science Sunday in February, and there are a limited number available at the Wellington Library. Feel free to email for the instructions if you are interested in using your own materials.
Contest Format
The Contest is open to all interested groups and individuals with the competition divided into four categories:
Age 5 and Under
Age 6 - 9
Age 10 - 13
Age 14 - 18
