Join us for Nanaimo's first POP UP PLAYGROUND! Your children are invited to come and experiment, play, and create with a variety of loose materials as they create the adventure playground of their dreams.
Pop up playgrounds are an amazing opportunity for children to spend hours creating their own environments, directing their own outcomes, and learning while they do it. Some kids will create a cardboard village out of appliance boxes, some will build castles or swing sets, others will create a suit of armour or an obstacle course.
The possibilities are quite literally endless and you will be amazed at how patient and focused your child will become when they are hard at play!
Entrance to the pop-up playground is by donation, all of which are used to support the Nanaimo Free Learners and Maple Hill Free Learning Centre on our quest to provide ethical and child-focused education alternatives and play opportunities in Nanaimo.
