Celebrate Poetry Month with an Ekphrastic Walking Tour of downtown Victoria. Victoria’s Poet Laureate Yvonne Blomer, the city’s Youth Poet Laureate Zoe Duhaime along with Garth Martens, Wendy Morton, Daniel G. Scott and Rhona McAdam will lead you through the city from architecture to sculpture to graffiti reciting poems as they go.
Meeting place is the Central Library Courtyard. Register at gvpl.ca or call 250-940-GVPL (4875) for more information. First tour 10:00-11:30am, repeat tour at 2:00-3:30pm.
