Wondering if podcasting is right for you or your business? This full-day introduction will include the creation of multiple live podcasts in-class, both audio and video, and a discussion of software, tools and equipment.

Students will receive a multi-page handout, and a CD-ROM including helpful software that will be used in-class.

You'll learn;
TECHNICAL BASICS;
- what you need to start (cheap, cheaper, and cheapest)
- how to create a basic audio and video podcast
- how to choose a microphone, and the benefits of different types
- how to setup lighting
- how to improve sound quality
- how to balance picture quality with resolution
- how to distribute your podcast on iTunes
- how to best use YouTube

GETTING TO KNOW YOUR AUDIENCE:
- how to use your podcasting skills to promote your business or products, both locally and internationally
- how to create a great ongoing podcast that will keep listeners interested
- how to promote your podcast

Fee is $150 per person, and registration is limited to 10 people. (Teens may be accepted if approved in advance.)
