Plants of Nanaimo Program
add to outlook add to google calendar remind me
Beautiful plants are everywhere in Nanaimo, and this year you can find them in the museum, too! From July 2-September 6, Plants of Nanaimo puts the spotlight on local plants like cedar, bigleaf maple, stinging nettle, and more. Check out plant specimens with a museum interpreter, then search for plants hiding around the gallery in an I-Spy activity. Before you leave, don’t forget to pick up a museum-made guide that will help you get started on identifying plants around Nanaimo. The program is suitable for all ages and is free with admission. Preregistration is not required, but we recommend booking a timeslot before visiting the gallery.
