The fall propagation workshop looks at different techniques to help you grow the plants you always wanted without having to buy them. We will learn about hardwood and softwood cuttings, layering, air layering and division.

About the Presenter: Manon has been living on the West Coast of British Columbia for the past 10 years. In 2002, she received her certification as a Landscape Horticulturist Technician. For six year, she owned a successful Landscaping business based in Victoria specialized in edible landscapes. In 2008, after selling her company, Manon had the opportunity to study at Royal Roads in Environment and Communication where she developed skills leading to environmental education. From 2008 to 2010, Manon worked at Glendale Gardens as a practical skill and pruning instructor. In 2010, she received an accreditation from the ITA and was certified as a Journeyman in the Landscape Horticultural trade. That same year, Manon took on a beautiful challenge and accepted a position as Head Gardener of Abkhazi Garden. Over the past 15 years, Manon travelled extensively through Canada, Europe, South America and Asia where she volunteered and worked on organic farms learning about Permaculture and small scale farming. In her free time, Manon loves hiking the beautiful coast of BC and learning about native plant communities. She is currently finishing her degree in geography and environmental studies at UVic.
