Get ready for one of Campbell River's biggest treasure hunts, coming up Saturday, April 13 at the annual Plant and Jumble Sale. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Community Centre gym will be jammed with everything garden and garage - 30 table of plants and 60 tables of nearly-new garage sale items. PLUS a silent auction, excellent gifts for the ones you love.

"Campbell River's annual Plant and Jumble Sale attracts gardeners seeking plants, seeds, herbs, bulbs and even gardening magazines. There's also lot of household and hobby items to browse, from furniture, tools and sports equipment to beauty products, books and puzzles. And, to wet your appetite for May's Fibre Fest, there will also be quilting and knitting supplies," said program coordinator Linda Kubinec."

Silent auction items, coffee, hot dogs and parties, add to the massive treasure hunting fun - definitely a Saturday event with something for the whole family.

Donations of second hand treasures, plants and silent auction new and nearly-new items will be gratefully accepted at the Community Centre on Friday, April 12.

City of Campbell River Recreation and Culture 50+ Active Living members host this popular fundraiser and use the funds for their healthy, action program activities.
