When you think of your family, who comes to mind? Who belongs in your family portrait? Bring your family and create a fun, experimental family portrait inspired by the Gallery’s inquiry what are generations? After touring the exhibition Across the Table, participants will be guided through a series of blind portrait and contour drawing exercises which will then be cut, collaged and painted onto one surface to create large collaborative, quirky images. Each portrait will fit into gilded kitsch frames ready to hang at home! No art-making experience required.
