Philosophers' Cafe: Merging Worlds in Prison
add to outlook add to google calendar remind me
Prison walls not only keep people in, but also keep them out. Through organized activities and courses, can we bring people together from either side of these walls and transform their respective experiences? Come discuss it at the Philosphers' Cafe, a public forum for debate at the downtown library, facilitated by Joanne Falvai. Joanne is a Criminology Professor at VIU and Director of the Inside-Out Prison Exchange Program. Inside-Out offers university courses to students both incarcerated and non-incarerated, who learn together at the prison.
