Operating since 2005 the Phil Dwyer Academy of Musical and Culinary Arts has become well known for it's innovative and exciting educational programs. Since 2011 the PDAMCA has focused on it's adult jazz intensive programs, bringing together some of the top amateur musicians in western Canada for a week of great music and food. Winding up the 2013 program will be this special concert featuring the music of Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers. Juno Award-winning jazz great Phil Dwyer will be joining the group, along with veteran Vancouver trombonist Rod Murray.
