The District 69 Recreation Commission is pleased to recognize local athletes and artists who have won gold medals at provincial championships this year. Nominees have been invited to attend an awards presentation at Oceanside Place, Thursday November 19th at 4:00pm. The RDN Performance Recognition Program is open to individuals and teams who have placed first in a provincial, inter-provincial or national athletic or artistic competition.
To qualify for this program, nominees must be amateur participants who live in the City of Parksville, the Town of Qualicum Beach or Electoral Area E, F, G or H.
Nominations are accepted until Friday, October 29th, and more information and nomination forms are available at www.rdn.bc.ca/recreation.
