The Middle East Peace Quilt Project by Elizabeth Sima Shefrin. Elizabeth coordinated an international art project involving about 300 people from all around the world. She feels that visual art and imagery can open doors, stir debate, and help end hatred. The 30 panels of the Mid-East Peace Quilt are a cry for social change, and a beautiful art project.
The Perfect Protest Quilt Posters. The quilt posters made in Susan Paynter�s workshop to speak out about environmental, political, or social concerns will be on display.
Susan Paynter�s masterpiece, Requiem to Cedar, will be on display during the opening only.
Donations to the Commons are appreciated. The displays can be viewed whenever the Commons is open.
