Have you thought about protesting the proposed Kinder Morgan pipeline? This short and fun workshop will introduce you to the concepts of peaceful direct action (PDA). It’s great training to have up your sleeve if you ever want to stop a pipeline! There are many supporting roles to fill in a non-violent protest, so even if you would never get arrested, you can still participate.
This workshop is designed to be hands-on. The focus will be on covering relevant theory and then applying it in a variety of activities. Suggested donation $20-50, or pay what you can. Everyone is welcome—no experience needed! Please bring a lunch or snacks.
