The PDQ Flyers Association, a model aircraft club plan an outstanding show that will thrill all aviation enthusiasts, also an offer to the visitor the opportunity to become an RC pilot in this exciting hobby. Most of the participants are members of some 400 well organized clubs in Canada. They provide their members with park like facilites with paved or grass runways from which to fly their models.

PDQ Flyers fly off a 600 foot grass strip south of Parksville. While the hobby has its challenges, these are limited to the individual modellers' choice of complexity. Ready-built models are available, but most senior modellers prefer to build their own, either from kits or plans and raw materials.
