Victoria, BC - Pacific Design Academy�s year one and two fashion design students will be having their annual fashion show on Saturday June 16th, 2012 at The Bay Centre. The runway will be located in The Bay Centre�s centre court, located on the lower level. Pacific Design Academy has partnered with The Bay Centre and The Breast Cancer Society of Canada for this charity event and all proceeds will be going towards breast cancer research.

There are a total of 12 students who will be presenting their designs. As well as showcasing clothing, students will each have their own installation area where other pieces of work and portfolios will be displayed.

The theme for the evening is a �black and white gala event� while bringing the outdoors in. Decorations will be in classic black and white with pops of color from bunches of wild flowers. There will be a bar serving beer, wine, and cocktails for purchase. There will also be a selection of complimentary canap�s catered by Earls restaurant. Guests are free to walk around, mingle, and enjoy food and beverages before the start of the show and during intermission.

The show is taking place at 9:00 pm at The Bay Centre, doors opening at 8:30 pm. All guests are asked to please enter through the View St entrance. Parking will be available in The Bay Centre�s underground parkade off View St for a charge of $3.

Tickets will be sold at The Bay Centre�s Guest Services desk, located on the lower level near the escalators, as well as in the reception office at Pacific Design Academy starting mid-May for $20 each. Since this is a private show, no tickets will be sold at the door. The first 100 people to purchase tickets will receive a fabulous gift bag containing an assortment of products and samplers.
