Deep Bay Marine Field Station and the Brant Wildlife Festival invite you to join author Paula Wild for a presentation about her fascinanting book: The Cougar:Beautiful, Wild and Dangerous. Vancouver Island and its surrounding islands have the highest density of cougars in North America, as well as the most aggressive cougar population. Join Paula Wild for a slideshow presentation and talk about our evolving relationship with cougars, and sharing our environment with this enigmatic and sometimes frightening predator, to be followed by a book signing.

Doors open at 6:00 pm

Come early to check out our aquariums and touch tanks. Tickets include admission to the station. Gourmet snacks and treats will be available before the presentation.
