Wednesday, October 24th, 2018
10:00 AM to 2:00 PM

Kem Luther, author of "Boundary Layer", examines the often overlooked world of fungi, moss and lichen and their critical roles in ecosystem function. Rich Mably, a volunteer for over 20 years with the CRD as a park steward, is a fungiphile and photography who is always keen to get outside.

Join Kem and Rich on a hunt to find and identify mushrooms in the beautiful mature forests at Mt. Work. Participants will learn how to ID the most common species, deadly species, the parts of the mushroom fruiting body, and discuss the role of fungi in forests.
