Passport to Nature: Maltby Lake Broom Bash

Join TLC and the Greater Victoria Green Team (GVGT) in removing Scotch broom from gorgeous Maltby Lake. The lake is not publicly accessible so this is a rare treat! Maltby Lake is the headwater for the Tod Creek Watershed and is a pristine freshwater source. The lake boasts an abundance of wildlife, including rare freshwater jellyfish and one of the largest Douglas-fir trees in the Greater Victoria area.

Tools, gloves and snacks are provided, but please dress appropriately for the weather!
