Passport to Nature: Ayum Creek Restoration
add to outlook add to google calendar remind me
Join TLC and the Greater Victoria Green Team (GVGT) in combating invasive periwinkle and false lamium (a.k.a. yellow archangel) using the sheet mulching ("lasagna gardening") technique to smother them out!
Work will include maintenance of restoration areas started last year by removing any sprouting plants from the treatment area and establishing new treatment areas. By laying down cardboard and topping with mulch to remove the light source from the invasive species, we can give the native species a chance to recolonize the area once more.
Registration is required.
