Across the region hundreds of artisans, craftspeople, musicians, and hall organizers are working away, preparing for the deluge of crafts fairs and markets that transform this Oceanside area into a west coast Christmas town.
The regional festivities kick off with the Parksville Christmas Light Up on November 19th.

Then it�s the 17th Annual Kris Kringle Craft Market in its new home the Parksville Community and Conference Centre�s Gathering Place.

Admission is $ 5 daily or $ 7 for all four days with any kind of Salvation Army donation.

That same weekend festivities kick off In Qualicum Beach with Christmas In the Village.
When: Sunday, November 21st. 11 am � 6 pm
Admission is free.

The following weekend, things really kick into high gear. Parksville-Qualicum Beach will literally be bursting at the seams with unique and memorable offerings for the entire family. Over 10,000 people regularly pass through the doors across these two communities to enjoy the festive atmosphere.

The festive fun continues with the transformation of Milner Gardens into Milner Christmas Magic. The Gardens will be lit up with thousands of Christmas lights. The main house will be decorated for the season

Perhaps the grandest procession on Vancouver Island, the Parksville Fellowship Baptist Church presents their 18th annual Bethlehem Walk. This super-sized undertaking brings together over 250 people in period costume, live animals, shops and shopkeepers all recreating a working village atmosphere of the streets of Bethlehem.
