Welcome to the Parksville Museum's Opening Day!!
Please join us in celebrating the Parksville Museum's 2018 Opening Day. We invite you to free coffee and Cake. Fiddlers to follow as you wander through our facinating Heritage buildings relocated from throughout district 69 to our Heritage Village on the Museum grounds. Each building has played a unique roll in our area's pioneer history. Stay tuned for some great events coming to you from the Parksville Museum. Always looking for volunteers.
The museum's primary mandate is to collect, preserve, and display artifacts and archival materials that pertain to the varied aspects of this area. The geographic focus of our collection is that of School District 69 which includes Parksville, Errington, Coombs, Hilliers, French Creek and Nanoose Bay. The museum has an expansive collection of objects that help us illustrate the lives and activities of early settlers, organizations and businesses of the local communities.
