The 7th Annual Parksville Lions International Kite Festival will be held on "the best flying field on the Island". Kiters from across BC and the Pacific Northwest will participate. Members of the British Columbia Kitefliers Association will be in attendance.
"Come Fly a Kite With Us"
This is a free family event on Parksville Beach. The Canadian Open Sand Sculpting Competition also takes place adjacent to the flying field.
