Kitefest is an annual celebration of kite-flying organized by the Parksville Lions Club and the BC Kite Flyers Association. Families are warmly invited to visit the Parksville Community Park on this fun weekend event held in early July, usually as part of the Parksville Beach Fest activities.

There are food concessions, various vendors, kite building tent for beginners, kite demonstrations, banner displays, and the ever popular Teddy Bear Drop.

This event is generously sponsored and supported by many Parksville businesses and services. Parksville Lions Club is extremely grateful for this community support which allows us to host this free fun summer family event.
