"Panther Valley Day" is a family event hosted by the Parksville Museum & Archives at Craig Heritage Park. The event is meant to bring families and the community together through fun, informative, and historically-centered activities.
The event will run from 11:00 am - 4:00 pm, and will feature: Pony Rides, Panning for Gold, Butter Churning, Potato Sack Races, Blacksmith Demonstrations (brought to you by Crossed Heart Forge), Kite Making, Face Painting, Balloon Animals, Live Music, Scavenger Hunts with PRIZES, and MORE! Hot dogs, drinks, and chips will also be available at our concession stand.
Entrance into the event is FREE for children aged 12 and under.
Fun Fact: The reason why this event is called "Panther Valley Day" is because the Parksville area was once referred to as Panther Valley due to the large number of cougars living here!
