From sparkling surfaces to crashing waves and ocean spray, learn how to capture the expressive qualities of water. By squirting paint and experimenting with dried pigments and spray bottles, you will be able to create your own dynamic water scene. Think of all the wonderful local scenery for inspiration!

The Coast Collective is happy to welcome renown Leslie Redhead back for another very popular workshop after her travels around the world.

Supplies: -1 full sheet of 100% cotton – 140lb hot press wc paper, -1 full sheet of 100% cotton – 140lb cold press wc paper, - board to tape half sheet of wc paper to (18x24”) , - masking tape, -#6 round sable brush, #12 round brush, ¾”-1” flat/hake brush or cat’s tongue brush, small --scrub/yucky brush, -2 spray bottles (one with a light mist and one with an adjustable nozzle), 2- 3 squirt bottles, - funnel that fits the top of squirt bottles (optional), -masking fluid (Winsor & Newton is best), -smock/apron, - paper towels, -pencil, eraser - palette, -palette knife, -water containers, -old toothbrush -,2-3 small containers to mix paint in, -WC Paints: French Ultramarine Blue, Winsor Blue OR Thalo Blue, Burnt Sienna, Raw Sienna, Winsor Yellow OR Cadmium Yellow Light, Permanent Alizarin Crimson, Permanent Rose, Scarlet Lake or Cadmium Scarlet, Chinese White (optional), any blue that you like (optional), -under-the-bed box (optional) - Mr. Clean Magic Eraser- original formula (optional)
