In this workshop you will learn to paint colour like the early 20th Century French Fauvists. They were nicknamed the Fauves meaning ‘Wild Beasts’ due to their colourful and wild way of painting. They used pure, brilliant colour aggressively applied sometimes straight from the paint tubes to create a sense of an explosion on the canvas. This is a fun and easy way to learn about using colour in painting and each student will create their own unique landscape painting during the workshop. You will also learn about composition, colour mixing, paint application and how to create energy and light within your painting. Suitable for all levels. See supply list.
