The Pacific Rim Whale Festival is an annual week long event celebrating the return of Pacific Grey Whales to the West coast of Vancouver Island on their Northern migration route. The week-long festival hosts a number of fun events throughout Tofino, Ucluelet, and the Pacific Rim National Park Reserve. Kick start your March break week with us at The Parade of Whales and Wonder in Tofino. Then head to Ucluelet to indulge your taste buds in a culinary extravaganza at the highly anticipated Chowder Chowdown, learn about marine life from the knowledgeable staff of Ucluelet aquarium as they host a beach seine, and partake in whale watching and other educational opportunities throughout the week. Test your knowledge at Trivia Nights held in both Tofino and Ucluelet. Finally end the week with us at our Baleen Bash closing party with Shred Kelly(19+). There is something for everyone!
