The Pacific Rim Potters are professional south Vancouver Island artists who have been exhibiting ceramics together for 30+ years. Linda Vigliotti, Meira Mathison, Cindy Gibson, Ester Galac, Darrel Hancock, Nora Lewin, and Peggy Elmes are the current members, who consistently put together classy and eclectic shows of functional and sculptural pottery encompassing a wide range of styles.

Joining the event for fall 2018 will be guest artists Debbie Elkins, Tony Mochizuki and Barb Lovick. Debbie is a very talented figurative artist who incorporates whimsical themes and imagery into functional work. Tony's vessels are unique and have a strong Asian influence while Barb's work is playful with many pieces having seasonal themes.

Each of the potters has developed an individual style, and perfected their own designs for a wide array of pieces, ranging from eggcups to sculpture. Colourful garden art rubs shoulders with unique pottery for the kitchen, elegant Ikebana vases, dramatic display pieces and the humble coffee mug.

This is a free, wheelchair accessible event, with parking, complimentary refreshments and door prizes by raffle. Shoppers, browsers, old friends and new all welcome!
