Pacific Opera Victoria marks Verdi�s bicentennial, and the company�s 100th production, with the greatest comedy in the Italian repertoire. FALSTAFF is a celebration of human resilience, with a miraculous score and a dizzying wealth of melody.
Shakespeare may have invented the character of Sir John Falstaff, but the portly, hard- drinking, womanizing scoundrel is the perfect fit for opera: he lives life large.
FALSTAFF features Brian Bannatyne-Scott in the title role with Joni Henson as Alice Ford, Brett Polegato as Ford and Colin Ainsworth as Fenton. The production is directed by Glynis Leyshon with conductor Timothy Vernon and the Victoria Symphony
