One Cowichan invites you to join us at the Island Savings Centre theatre in Duncan for an evening of inspiration and conversation about the future of BC and our energy economy, with presentations from speakers Andrew Nikiforuk and Trevor Greene, video and music.
Andrew Nikiforuk, winner of the Governor General award for his writing on energy issues in Western Canada, brings an encyclopedic knowledge of the oil sands, pipelines, and our energy economy.
Captain Trevor Greene, Afghanistan war veteran and author of new book There Is No Planet B. Trevor�s miraculous recovery after an axe attack to his brain is an inspiration to everyone.
The event will also screen for the first time clips from Voices From The Pipe, a short film about those living in the pathway of the proposed Enbridge Gateway pipeline.
