Matthew Byrne is one of the rising stars in Canadian Folk Music today. His gorgeous voice and gentle style with traditional and new songs makes an evening with him a joy you want to repeat whenever you can. He is returning to Campbell River (after a quick trip home from touring to enjoy Thanksgiving) on Weds, 17 October, 2018 from 7-10PM to celebrate his second nomination as Canadian Folk Music’s Traditional Album of the Year and Traditional Singer of the Year for his third album, Horizon Lines. In addition to selections from Horizon Lines, he brings selections from his other CDs, (including his 2015 Hearts and Heroes which won Traditional Album award in 2015), new material currently in the works, and sing-along traditional favourites.
