Robert Jan Dukarm has been the organist at the Cathedral Church of Saint John the Evangelist in Victoria since 2009. He has played in numerous recitals and performances in Victoria and on Saltspring Island. Robert has provided organ accompaniment for Remembrance Day Capriccio choir concerts and the Newcombe Singers.

Robert is a Victoria native and a graduate of the Victoria Conservatory of Music and the University of Victoria. He was an organ scholar for seven years under the previous Cathedral Church organist, Robert Pletsch. With financial support from the Cathedral Church of Saint John the Evangelist, Robert has had advanced organ lessons from Michael Gormley and tutoring in music theory and organ history from local organist Nicholas Fairbank.
