Meet the artists, learn more about the exhibitions + celebrate with us!
Scones from Dave's Bakery + Lemonade will be offered as light refreshments.
Art Pin making will also be happening throughout the evening.

We will be unveiling new exhibitions by two Vancouver-based artists.

"Like the Back of My Hand" by artist Suzo Hickey features a new suite of landscape paintings in our Main Gallery. The exhibition is generously sponsored by Penny + Roger Gosselin.

Suzo Hickey paints the West Coast urban landscape – the streets of Prince Rupert, where she grew up, and the neighbourhood of East Vancouver, where she lives now. This work is a reference to her cultural history, recognizing her antecedents as a Canadian painter, experiencing the joy of manipulating paint.

Terra Poirier's  exhibition, "Are You Sure?" will be installed in our Discovery Gallery. The exhibition explores the intersections, overlaps, and disconnections between personal and collective memory. These ideas manifest as new assemblage works composed from Poirier’s real and fictional memories. The exhibition is generously sponsored by  Photo Tech foto source.
