Open Space on Tuesday, Februrary 28 at 7:30 p.m., at Camosun College on Wednesday, March 1 at 4:00 p.m. at Wilna Thomas Building, Room 234, and at Open Space on Wednesday, March 1 at 7:30 p.m. for Red Words conversation.

Lee Maracle will be reading as part of Open Word: Readings and Ideas. These three readings are co-presented by Camosun College. Maracle will be reading from her book Celia’s Song and from her book of poetry, Talking to the Diaspora. Lee Maracle is an award-winning author and teacher. Her works include novels, Celia’s Song, Ravensong, Bobbi Lee, and Sundogs; short story collection, Sojourner’s Truth; poetry collections, Talking to the Diaspora, and Bent Box; and nonfiction works, Memory Serves and I Am Woman. She is co-editor of My Home As I Remember and Telling It: Women and Language Across Cultures, editor of a number of poetry works, and has published in dozens of anthologies in Canada and the United States.
