Open House at LDS FamilySearch Center

Nanaimo Family History Society (NFHS) is pleased to invite you to an open house at the Nanaimo FamilySearch Center (Center).

The Center is a public space for genealogical research. There are multiple computer workstations with free access to genealogy websites such as Ancestry, fold3.com and newspapers.com among several others. During regular Center hours a genealogy researcher is on hand to provide assistance.

This would be a great time for you and your family members interested in finding out about their family history to see all of the resources available in one central location. Or, do you have a younger family member who may be entering a grade this year where part of their studies is doing a family tree/kinship project. Here is a perfect time to get them started.

Part of the NFHS library is housed at the Center. The books are available for lending.

Join us at the open house to check out the facility and discover all the Center has to offer. Light refreshments will be provided.
