This particular fundraiser is aimed at raising $ to purchase solar panels for the school to provide a stable source of energy, and solar cookers to cook the daily breakfast as the six women are currently cooking over wood fires. This practice is fairly laborious searching for wood, building a fire and then there are the health effects of cooking over an open fire daily, the women have asked us to provide them with cooking options and solar cookers is a perfect solution.
